Abstract (en)
The regulation of the velocity (speed) of circulation of a flow of loose (bulk) product, particularly tobacco, transported by a flow of air in an entry conveyor pipe (11) of a machine (1) is effected by regulating the rate of flow of the flow of air over an exit conveyor pipe (12) of the machine, after the tobacco has been separated from the said flow of air. The pressure of the air measured (32) at the entry of the exit conveyor pipe makes it possible to control a regulating valve (30) performing the said regulation of the rate of flow of the air. The regulating device may easily be installed on a cigarette-making machine equipped with an entry lock (10). <IMAGE>

La régulation de la vitesse de circulation d'un flux de produit en vrac, notamment de tabac, transporté par un flux d'air dans une conduite d'entrée (11) d'une machine (1) est effectuée en réglant le débit du flux d'air sur une conduite de sortie (12) de la machine, après que le tabac ait été séparé dudit flux d'air. La pression de l'air mesurée (32) à l'entrée de la conduite de sortie permet de commander une vanne de réglage (30) effectuant ledit réglage de débit d'air. Le dispositif de régulation peut facilement être installé sur une machine de cigarettes munie d'une écluse d'entrée (10). <IMAGE>
