Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0588070A1] A transfer locking valve is used for the safe filling and emptying of containers of any kind with liquid, pasty and powdery media, the medium flowing from one barrel in particular into another container, the intention being to prevent contamination of the environment. In the casing (42) of the sealing valve there is arranged a rotatable or displaceable slide (28) which is integrally connected to a filling pipe (55). A lifting mechanism (31,32) is allocated to the slide and is intended to effect the raising and lowering of the lifting lid (26) which seals off or releases one outlet aperture of the casing. In one slide position, the lifting lid (26) therefore acts on the outlet aperture, while in the other slide position the filling pipe is made to adopt a coaxial counter-position between an upper connecting sleeve and a lower outlet aperture. <IMAGE>
