Abstract (en)
Earth drill for placing a concrete pile in situ, the tubular shank (11) of which has a cylindrical or conical sleeve (23) at the bottom end (11a). The sleeve (23) has a relatively large length (L) in the axial direction of the drill and presses and compacts the earth, loosened by the flights (17) and (18) of a helical rib (16) arranged above the sleeve (23), against the borehole wall upon withdrawal of the drill and at the same time smooths the borehole wall and seals it off from the cast-in-situ concrete occurring at the underside of the hollow drill. By a continuous, smooth-walled displacement body (20) above the helical rib (16), the loosened earth is also displaced and compacted upon sinking the drill into the borehole wall. <IMAGE>

Erdbohrer zum Herstellen eines Ortbeton-Verdrängungspfahles, dessen rohrförmiger Schaft (11) am unteren Ende (11a) eine zylindrische oder konische Manschette (23) aufweist, die in Axialrichtung des Bohrers eine verhältnismäßig große Länge (L) hat und das von den Schraubengängen (17) und (18) einer oberhalb angeordneten Schraubenrippe (16) gelockerte Erdreich beim Herausziehen des Bohrers gegen die Bohrlochwandung preßt und verdichtet und zugleich die Bohrlochwandung glättet und gegenüber dem an der Unterseite des hohlen Bohrers auftretenden Ortbeton abdichtet. Durch einen konischen, glattwandigen Verdrängungskörper (20) oberhalb der Schraubenrippe (16) wird das gelockerte Erdreich auch beim Niederbringen des Bohrers in die Bohrlochwandung verdrängt und verdichtet. <IMAGE>
