Abstract (en)
A monopole antenna (13) having a total length of about one-half wavelength of a signal in a desired broadcast band is provided having a log-periodic shape to increase its gain over a large bandwidth. The resulting hybrid of a log-periodic antenna and a half-wave monopole antenna has a small size adapted to be employed on a vehicle, such as being deposited on the glass of a vehicle in association with a de-misting heater grid. <IMAGE>
