[origin: EP0588709A1] The present invention relates to a circuit breaker comprising the component elements which are a first (1) and a second (2) fixed contact, a movable arc contact-carrying tube (3) and a blowing nozzle (4) characterised in that at least one of its component elements is fixed by heat shrinking. As far as the blowing nozzle (4) is concerned, it is in abutment against one end of a tubular support part (5) with an annular end flange (6), and counter-abutted against an end part of the first fixed contact (1), which is itself fixed by a heatshrunk ring (7) onto the annular flange (6) of the support part (5). <IMAGE>
