[origin: EP0588748A1] The invention relates to a device for attaching a flexible and elastic sheet, stretched between two supports, to form, in particular, a false ceiling, which attaching device comprises profiled sections (5, 6) each carrying a complementary attaching means (7, 8), the fixed profile section having, seen in profile, an overall inverted U shape with unequal branches (12, 13), with its small branch (12) located nearest the support, this small branch preferably constituting a part of the supporting means (9) and the profiled section (6), called the movable profiled section, being associated with the flexible sheet (1) and having, over its entire length, a substantially U-shaped cross section in order to form a hook (8). It is characterised in that the fixed lip (11) is carried by the free end (12a) of the small branch (12) and is oriented substantially upwards in the direction of the close end (17) of the U, whilst the large branch (13) has at least its end part (13a) curved in the direction of the support (2 or 3) by which the profiled section is carried, so that its free edge (13b) is located substantially vertically in line with the free edge (11a) of the fixed lip (11). <IMAGE>
