Abstract (en)
An arm-rest for sitting furniture is provided with a guide column (9) running in the vertical direction (V), with an arm-rest body (1) guided telescopically displaceably thereon by means of a counter-guide (guide opening 8), and with a locking device (17) arranged on the arm-rest body (1) and intended for vertically fixing the arm-rest body (1) in relation to the guide column (9). The guide column (9) and the counter-guide (guide opening 8) of the arm-rest body (1) are constructed symmetrically in relation to an axis of symmetry (19) running in the vertical direction (V) in such a way that the arm-rest body (1) can be fastened on the guide column (9) in two different mounting positions turned through 180 DEG about the axis of symmetry (19) with respect to each other. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Armlehne für Sitzmöbel ist mit einer in Vertikalrichtung (V) verlaufenden Führungssäule (9), mit einem darauf mittels einer Gegenführung (Führungsöffnung 8) teleskopartig verschiebbar geführten Armlehnenkörper (1) und mit einer am Armlehnenkörper (1) angeordneten Verriegelungsvorrichtung (17) zur vertikalen Festlegung des Armlehnenkörpers (1) bezüglich der Führungssäule (9) versehen. Die Führungssäule (9) und die Gegenführung (Führungsöffnung 8) des Armlehnenkörpers (1) sind bezüglich einer in Vertikalrichtung (V) verlaufenden Symmetrieachse (19) derart symmetrisch ausgebildet, daß der Armlehnenkörper (1) in zwei unterschiedlichen, gegenseitig um 180° um die Symmetrieachse (19) gedrehte Montagepositionen an der Führungssäule (9) befestigbar ist. <IMAGE>
