[origin: CA2104734A1] An analog timepiece has an hour and a minute hand which may show either the time in a normal manner or information other than the time. When the timepiece is in its normal time display mode, a display function may be activated to display information other than the time by means of external command means. When this function is activated, the hands are superimposed and selectively occupy together the same angular position representative of the information apart from an indication of the time.

La pièce d'horlogerie comprend une aiguille des heures et une aiguille des minutes à l'aide desquelles elle peut afficher alternativement soit l'heure de manière traditionnelle, soit une information autre qu'une indication d'heure. Lorsque la pièce d'horlogerie se trouve dans son mode d'affichage normal de l'heure, on peut activer la fonction d'affichage d'une information autre qu'une indication d'heure à l'aide de moyens externes de commande. Lorsque cette fonction est activée, la pièce d'horlogerie amène les aiguilles à se superposer et à occuper sélectivement ensemble une même position angulaire représentative de l'information autre qu'une indication d'heure. <IMAGE>
