[origin: EP0589465A1] The invention relates to a timepiece. This timepiece has at least two selectable operating modes, a first so-called clock mode and a second so-called non-clock mode, and it comprises at least one hour hand (h) and one minute hand (m) which can be actuated independently by motor means (18, 20), electronic means (22) for managing the said operating modes and an external control member capable of acting on the said management means, this piece being characterised in that it includes means of visual warning of entry into the non-clock operating mode, these warning means which are formed by the said hour hand (h) and minute hand (m) acting automatically and systematically at least upon entry to the non-clock operating mode.
