[origin: EP0589744A1] The round light comprises a base (1) and a lens (diffuser) (2) with a raised section (10) held by a peripheral shoulder (11) in a ring-shaped flange (3) which applies, clamped by screws, the raised section (10) on a plane annular bearing surface (14) of the base. The flange (3) is fitted with fingers (30) capable of clipping into complementary housings (35) in the base, for holding the flange with the lens in position for the screwing. Preferably, the lens also has a peripheral shoulder (11) interrupted by rectangular notches, and the finger housings (35) are bordered by click leaf springs which engage in the notches, for holding the lens (2) on the base. It is thus possible to fit the diffuser then the flange and tighten the screws without having to hold these elements in place. <IMAGE>
