The invention relates to an electrical switch, intended to be placed on an electrical power circuit, with closing and opening controlled by a control signal including a semiconductor switch (121). It includes an electromechanical switch (122) and a signal processor (11), the electromechanical switch (122) being connected in parallel with the semiconductor switch (121), the signal processor (11) receiving the control signal and controlling the semiconductor switch (121) and the electromechanical switch (122).
