Abstract (en)
The invention achieves the object of obtaining convenient operation and stable locking free from play at each selected height adjustment of the arm-and backrests for a minimal constructional outlay. A device which combines wedge and catch fastening is proposed. A supporting element (1, 21) - a bar piece or an angle - for receiving the adjusting part (3, 23), in the shape or for attachment of the arm-or backrest, has a surface structure, e.g. a wedge-angle toothing (2, 22), and with a wedge (4, 24) which bears a surface structure (2', 22') for positive engagement therewith, the adjusting part (3, 23) is locked at the selected height position. By means of an unlocking device (8, 28), the wedge (4, 24), which is pressed against the supporting part (1, 21) by a spring (6, 26), can be released for the adjusting operation. <IMAGE>

Mit der Erfindung wird die Aufgabe gelöst, eine bequeme Bedienung und eine stabile, spielfreie Arretierung in jeder gewählten Höheneinstellung der Arm- bzw. Rückenlehnen mit möglichst geringem konstruktiven Aufwand zu erreichen. Vorgeschlagen wird eine Vorrichtung, die Keil- und Rasthalterung kombiniert. Ein Stützteil (1,21) - ein Stangenstück bzw. ein Winkel - zur Aufnahme des Verstellteiles (3,23), in Gestalt oder zum Anbringen der Arm- bzw. Rückenlehne, weist eine Oberflächenstruktur, z.B. eine Keilwinkel-Verzahnung (2,22) auf, und mit einem Keil (4,24), der eine dazu formschlüssige Oberflächenstruktur (2',22') trägt,wird das Verstellteil (3,23) in der gewählten Höhenposition arretiert. Mittels einer Entriegelung (8,28) kann der Keil (4,24), der von einer Feder (6,26) an das Stützteil (1,21) gedrückt wird, für den Verstellvorgang gelöst werden. <IMAGE>
