[origin: EP0589864A1] The invention relates to a traction vehicle, in particular a railway traction vehicle with a bogie frame mounted on wheel axles, having a vehicle frame which is mounted in sprung fashion on the bogie frame and at least one motor/transmission unit arranged under the vehicle frame and inside the bogie frame in the vicinity of the wheel axle which is driven by this unit, the unit being suspension-mounted both in the vicinity of the wheelset on swing bearings in the bogie frame and in the vehicle frame, the suspension-mounting of the motor/transmission unit (1, 2) on the vehicle frame taking place by means of a swing bearing (7) and the unit (1, 2) being connected to the vehicle frame and/or the bogie frame (4) via two connecting rods (8, 9) with intersecting axes. <IMAGE>
