[origin: WO9222205A1] A composition for repelling and/or killing snails and slugs comprising an effective amount of a pyrethrin or a mixture of pyrethrins and a carrier. The pyrethrin is preferably in the form of the mark remaining after the solvent extraction of pyrethrins from the flowers of the pyrethrin containing plants. The carrier preferably comprises bran, or another food attractant for snails and slugs and ground rice hulls.

Composition destinée à repousser et/ou éliminer les escargots et les limaces, comprenant une quantité efficace d'une pyréthrine ou d'un mélange constitué de pyréthrines et d'un support. La pyréthrine se présente de préférence sous forme du marc qui reste après l'extraction par solvant des pyréthrines provenant des fleurs des plantes contenant de la pyréthrine. Le support comprend préférablement du son ou un autre aliment attirant les escargots et les limaces, et des résidus broyés provenant du mondage du riz.
