Abstract (en)
In the case of an ultrasonic transducer arrangement (2) having an electroacoustic transducer component (4), at least one acoustic matching layer (12) is assigned to the transducer component (4). The acoustic matching layer (12) consists of an electrically conductive frame (20) having interspaces (22) which are interconnected. The frame (20) is constructed of particles which are interconnected. The size of the particles is smaller than the wavelength of an acoustic wave in the matching layer (12), so that no substantial scattering of the wave takes place in the matching layer (12). The interspaces (22) are filled with a hardenable casting material (pourable sealing material). <IMAGE>

Bei einer Ultraschall-Wandleranordnung (2) mit einem elektroakustischen Wandlerteil (4) ist dem Wandlerteil (4) mindestens eine akustische Anpassungsschicht (12) zugeordnet. Die akustische Anpassungsschicht (12) besteht aus einem elektrisch leitfähigen Gerüst (20) mit untereinander verbundenen Zwischenräumen (22). Das Gerüst (20) ist aus untereinander verbundenen Teilchen aufgebaut. Die Größe der Teilchen ist kleiner als die Wellenlänge einer akustischen Welle in der Anpassungsschicht (12), wodurch in der Anpassungsschicht (12) keine wesentliche Streuung der Welle stattfindet. Die Zwischenräume (22) sind mit einem aushärtbarem Vergußmaterial gefüllt. <IMAGE>
