A show case exhibits an essentially planar carrying frame and at least one door which is provided with a glass pane. The door is fitted pivotally on the carrying frame and can be moved optionally into a closed position, resting on the carrying frame, and an open position projecting from the carrying frame. In order to be able to fit functional design elements, for example hinges and/or pneumatic-spring packets and/or corner connectors and/or locking devices and/or strike plates, in a simple manner, a rail is formed, at least in sections, in the carrying frame, on the surface thereof which is directed towards the door, along which rail the functional design elements can be displaced and in which they can be fixed. Fixing takes place, for example, by clamping, screw-connecting, riveting, latching, welding or adhesive bonding. <IMAGE>

Eine Vitrine weist einen im wesentlichen ebenen Tragrahmen und zumindest eine mit einer Glasscheibe versehene Tür auf. Die Tür ist an dem Tragrahmen schwenkbar angebracht und wahlweise in eine am Tragrahmen anliegende geschlossene Stellung und eine vom Tragrahmen abstehende offene Stellung bringbar. Um konstruktive Funktionselemente, beispielsweise Scharniere und/oder Gasfederkonsolen und/oder Eckverbinder und/oder Verriegelungsvorrichtungen und/oder Schließbleche in einfacher Weise anbringen zu können, ist in dem Tragrahmen auf dessen der Tür zugewandten Fläche zumindest abschnittsweise eine Schiene ausgebildet, entlang der die konstruktiven Funktionselemente verstellbar und in der sie festlegbar sind. Die Festlegung erfolgt dabei beispielsweise durch eine Klemmung, Verschraubung, Vernietung, Verrastung, Verschweißung oder Verklebung. <IMAGE>
