[origin: EP0590278A1] A show case exhibits an essentially planar carrying frame and at least one door which is provided with a glass pane. The door is fitted pivotally on the carrying frame and can be moved optionally into a closed position, resting on the carrying frame, and an open position projecting from the carrying frame. In order to be able to fit functional design elements, for example hinges and/or pneumatic-spring packets and/or corner connectors and/or locking devices and/or strike plates, in a simple manner, a rail is formed, at least in sections, in the carrying frame, on the surface thereof which is directed towards the door, along which rail the functional design elements can be displaced and in which they can be fixed.
