[origin: EP0590339A1] The invention relates to a directional valve (10) for compressed air, having a supply connection (72), at least one consumer connection (24) and at least one vent connection (74). A one-way restrictor is fitted between the vent connection (74) and the consumer connection (24) in order to prevent the consumer from being unintentionally acted upon if a dynamic pressure occurs during the venting. The one-way restrictor is fitted directly in the housing (48) of the directional valve (10) transversely to the bore of its spool (14), as a result of which a simple, compact and space-saving design and arrangement of the one-way restrictor is obtained. <IMAGE>
