[origin: EP0590505A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for monitoring the heat treatment or heat sterilisation of bottles and suchlike containers in container-treatment machines having a transport element which moves the containers for treatment at treatment stations on a transport stage between a container entry and a container exit. In a part region of the transport stage, the heat treatment takes place with a hot medium. For monitoring, there is provided at least one temperature sensor which serves for measuring the temperature of the containers heated by the hot medium. <IMAGE>
