Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0590543A2] A lamp holder (1) for two-pin cap lamps consists of a housing (2) which is of approximately L-shaped design. In one limb (4) of the housing are the contact springs for making electrical contact with the pins of an inserted two-pin cap lamp. A starter arrangement (12) which is designed as a two-terminal network is provided in the other limb of the housing (2). This arrangement results in a reduced space requirement, and so that the lamp housings can be designed correspondingly smaller. <IMAGE>
