Lock including a stator (10, 101, 201) and a rotor (12, 104, 204) mounted in the said stator (10, 101, 201), the said rotor (12, 104, 204) being equipped with a housing (25, 105, 205) intended to receive a key (108, 208) designed to interact with barring elements (26, 127, 227) designed to lock the said rotor (12, 104, 204) with respect to the said stator (10, 101, 201) when the key (108, 208) is not put into the said housing (25, 105, 205) and to render the rotor (12, 104, 204) free to turn with respect to the said stator (10, 101, 201) when the key is placed into the said housing (25, 105, 205), the housing (25, 105, 205) of the rotor (12, 104, 204) is a cylindrical axial bore of non-circular cross-section, in which there extend the barring elements (26, 127, 227), at least two of which are in the same plane perpendicular to the axis (102, 202) common to the rotor (12, 104, 204) and to the stator (10, 101, 201), the said key (108, 208) being cut with a circumferential peripheral groove (110, 210) bounded internally by a bottom (111, 211) with which the at least two barring elements (26, 127, 227) are made to cooperate when the key (108, 208) is placed into the housing (25, 105, 205) of the rotor (12, 104, 204). <IMAGE>

Verrou comportant un stator (10,101,201) et un rotor (12,104,204) monté dans ledit stator (10,101,201), ledit rotor (12,104,204) étant muni d'un logement (25,105,205) destiné à recevoir une clé (108,208) adaptée à coopérer avec des éléments de condamnation (26,127,227) prévus pour verrouiller ledit rotor (12,104,204) par rapport audit stator (10,101,201) lorsque la clé (108,208) n'est pas présente dans ledit logement (25,105,205), et rendre libre le rotor (12,104,204) de tourner par rapport audit stator (10,101,201) lorsque la clé est présente dans ledit logement (25,105,205) , le logement (25,105,205) du rotor (12,104,204) est un alesage axial cylindrique de section non circulaire dans lequel s'étendent les éléments de condamnation (26,127,227) dont au moins deux d'entre eux sont dans un même plan perpendiculaire à l'axe (102,202) commun au rotor (12,104,204) et au stator (10,101,201), ladite clé (108,208) étant creusée d'une gorge (110,210) périphérique circonférencielle limitée intérieurement par un fond (111,211) avec lequel les au moins deux éléments de condamnation (26,127,227) sont amenés à coopérer lorsque la clé (108,208) est présente dans le logement (25,105,205) du rotor (12,104,204). <IMAGE>
