[origin: WO9300404A1] The present invention provides flexible nylon films comprising, based on the total weight of the composition, from about 50 to about 95 weight % of a polyamide and from about 5 to about 50 weight % of a modified polyolefin having a functional moiety selected from the group consisting of unsaturated polycarboxylic acids and acid anhydrides wherein the tensile modulus of a film formed from such composition is below about 85,000 psi (580 MPa) at 50 % relative humidity. Preferably, the modified polyolefin further comprises vinyl acetate.

La présente invention se rapporte à des feuilles de nylon souples, comprenant, par rapport au poids total de la composition, de 50 à 95 % en poids environ d'un polyamide et de 5 à 50 % en poids environ d'une polyoléfine modifiée présentant une fraction fonctionnelle choisie à partir du groupe composé d'acides polycarboxyliques insaturés et d'anhydrides acides. Le module en traction d'une feuille produite à partir d'une telle composition est inférieur à 85.000 psi environ (580 MPa) à une humidité relative de 50 %. La polyoléfine modifiée comprend aussi de préférence un acétate de vinyle.
