[origin: FR2690172A1] Method comprises knitting a thin article, pref. with sunk stitches, which is flexible to give deformability then combining this with a plate or sheet of plastic by calendering immediately following extrusion. The calendering is carried out before the sheet has cooled to ensure the embedding at least superficially of the knitted structure into the plastic. Pref. the knitting uses a copper strip of 0.3-1.5 mm width and 0.001-0.003 mm thick pref. silver coated together with a synthetic thread to ensure good liaison with the plastic.

Procédé permettant l'incorporation d'une structure métallique à l'intérieur d'une matière plastique en vue de réaliser des articles moulés, qui consiste, après avoir réalisé un article tricoté fin (1), de préférence à mailles cueillies, souple afin d'assurer une déformabilité, à associer ledit tricot à une plaque ou feuille de matière plastique. L'association du tricot métallique (1) est réalisée immédiatement en sortie de l'ensemble permettant la formation d'une feuille ou plaque de matière plastique (2), l'association étant réalisée par calandrage alors que la plaque de matière plastique formée n'est pas encore refroidie, permettant ainsi l'incrustation de ladite structure tricotée au moins en surface à l'intérieur de ladite plaque ou feuille de matière plastique.
