The invention relates to a codable cylinder lock (1) having at least one blocking body (6) secured against rotation and having at least one cylinder body (12, 14) which is rotatable about an axis of rotation (10) relative to the blocking body (6) by means of a key (8, 8') matched to the particular coding of the cylinder lock (1), and having tumblers (16) which are displaceable in recesses (20) of the cylinder body (12, 14) and of the blocking body (6) and at least some of which pass, with the lock blocked, through at least one parting plane (76, 78) arranged between the blocking body (6) and the cylinder body (12, 14), the design of at least some of the tumblers (16) being reversibly variable. In order to provide a large number of coding possibilities and, at the same time, to prevent a new key being necessary each time after a recoding of the cylinder lock (1) or the number of coding possibilities from being restricted by the design of the key, it is proposed, according to the invention, to make the key (8, 8') likewise codable, specifically in such a way that it can be matched reversibly both to a changed number and to a changed arrangement of the tumblers passing through the parting planes. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein codierbares Zylinderschloß (1) mit mindestens einem gegen Verdrehen gesicherten Sperrkörper (6) und mindestens einem mittels eines Schlüssels (8) gegenüber dem Sperrkörper (6) um eine Drehachse (10) drehbaren Zylinderkörper (12,14), sowie mit in Ausnehmungen (20) des Zylinderkörpers (12,14) und des Sperrkörpers (6) verschiebbaren Zuhaltungen (16a,16b), von denen mindestens ein Teil (16b) bei gesperrtem Schloß mindestens eine zwischen dem Sperrkörper (6) und dem Zylinderkörper (12,14) angeordnete Trennfläche (76,78) durchsetzt, wobei die Ausbildung mindestens eines Teils der Zuhaltungen (16a,16b) veränderbar ist. Um zu vermeiden, daß nach einem Umcodieren des Zylinderschlosses (1) jedesmal ein neuer Schlüssel (8) erforderlich ist, wird gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung vorgeschlagen, den Schlüssel (8) ebenfalls codierbar auszubilden, und zwar so, daß sowohl die Codierung des Zylinderschlosses (1) als auch die des Schlüssels (8) reversibel veränderbar ist. <IMAGE>
