Für einen Exzentertellerschleifer (1) mit einem Gehäuse (2), in dem ein Motor mindestens eine Welle (11) antreibt, die eine mit einem Schleifteller (6) drehfeste Exzenterwelle (16) antreibt, die zur Achse (10) der Welle (11) exzentrisch kreisend und drehend bewegt wird, wobei die Exzenterwelle (16) gegenüber der Welle (11) drehbar ist und wobei die Bewegung des Schleiftellers (6), insbesondere dessen Rotation, durch eine Bremseinrichtung (23, 24, 25, 26, 27) verzögert/gebremst wird, wird die Aufgabe gelöst, eine besonders fein und handlich einstellbare Bremse zu schaffen, indem die Bremseinrichtung (23, 24, 25, 26, 27) ein sich beim Bremsvorgang bewegendes, insbesondere gegenüber der Bewegung des Schleiftellers (6) mehr oder weniger verzögerbares, vorzugsweise als Scheibe ausgestaltetes, Bremsmittel (25) aufweist. <IMAGE>
