[origin: EP0591981A1] A process for the extraction of fats and oils from natural substances with the aid of liquid propane as solvent is described and entails the extraction being carried out under a pressure of 10 to 30 bar and a temperature of 10 to 55 DEG C and the deposition of the extracted fats and oils from the solvent being carried out by reducing the pressure and/or increasing the temperature up to </= 80 DEG C. It is possible in this way to obtain high-quality products in good yield and under mild conditions.
