Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0592046A2] An interactive graphical display of object relationships and instances is implemented by means of a table driven process. The user can select one or more object occurrences and then select an action to be performed on the selected object occurrences using a dynamic menu of actions. Changes are made to the tables without modifying the processes. The process can be used in managing a distributed database system to provide a user with increasingly detailed levels of information about object types and occurrences in the database systems. <IMAGE>
