Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0592295A1] The protection module has a three-pole lightning arrester (1) mounted in a casing (2) with a combined short-circuit fuse (8), the latter isolating the elastic branches (40) of an earth contact (6) relative to contacts (9) for linking the electrodes of the lightning arrester to the external lines to be protected. It is characterised in that the fuse (8) constitutes a tongue for retaining the lightning arrester (1) on a closure lid (7) of the casing (2). Application: protection of telephone lines. <IMAGE>
