Abstract (en)

A strip of self-adhesive labels, especially for a franking machine, comprising a first continuous strip of a printable medium (2) having one adhesive face coated with an adhesive substance (3) and intended to be cut over its length into segments so as to form self-adhesive labels, characterised by marginal regions (5) on the said adhesive face which are formed by transverse bands without adhesive substance. This strip makes it possible to avoid the knives of automatic label dispensers being fouled when cutting up the strip. <IMAGE>

Un ruban à étiquettes auto-adhésives, notamment pour machine à affranchir, comprenant une première bande continue d'un support imprimable (2) ayant une face encollée garnie d'une matière adhésive (3) et destinée à être coupée sur sa longueur en segments pour former des étiquettes auto-adhésives, caractérisé par des zones d'épargne (5) sur ladite face encollée formées par des bandes transversales sans matière adhésive. Ce ruban permet d'éviter que les couteaux de distributeurs automatiques d'étiquettes s'encrassent lors de la coupe du ruban. <IMAGE>
