The charging device comprises a stool-like frame construction (12) into which a cube-shaped housing (1) is inserted approximately one metre from the floor, the housing containing a heat pump, a blower (fan) and other accessories. The housing (1) is made in the form of a cube and has, on the front wall (19), an air intake screen (21) and, on the two side walls (20, 20') and at the top on the cover, in each case air outlets (21) for the compressed air generated by a blower in the housing (1). The housing (1) is equipped with two connections (23, 24) for the supply of water to be heated and water which has been heated, and also with a dripping-water outlet (11) and a plug for connection to a control box (18). A major advantage of the device is the compact design of the housing and of the heat pump (1), which for a power of up to 5 kW has a side length of only 55 cm. Consequently, the housing (1) together with the contents is very light and can be exchanged by a single semi-skilled worker, thereby greatly facilitating the maintenance and repair of the device and of the heating installation. A defective unit, or a unit to be checked, can be replaced by a single person, e.g. by the caretaker, with the result that the loss of heating or hot water is of only very short duration. Since the exchanging operation does not require a heating specialist, considerable labour costs can be saved. Further advantages of the device are the dewatering action and hence the suitability as a linen drier, and also the cooling action, which is greatly appreciated especially in summer in the room in which the device is installed. <IMAGE>

Die Ladeeinrichtung umfasst eine stuhlartige Rahmenkonstruktion (12) in die ein würfelförmiges Gehäuse (1) etwa ein Meter vom Boden entfernt eingesetzt ist, das eine Wärmepumpe, ein Gebläse und sonstiges Zubehör enthält. Das Gehäuse (1) ist würfelförmig ausgebildet und hat an der Vorderwand (19) ein Luft-Ansaugsieb (21) und an den beiden Seitenwänden (20, 20') und oben am Deckel jeweils Luftauslässe (21) für die von einem Gebläse im Gehäuse (1) erzeugten Druckluft. Das Gehäuse (1) ist mit zwei Anschlüssen (23,24) für die Zufuhr von zu erwärmendem und erwärmtem Wasser sowie mit einem Tropfwasserauslauf (11) und einem Stecker für den Anschluss an einen Steuerkasten (18) versehen. Ein grosser Vorteil der Einrichtung ist die kompakte Bauweise des Gehäuses bzw. der Wärmepumpe (1), die für eine Leistung von bis zu 5 kW eine Seitenlänge von nur 55 cm aufweist. Deshalb ist das Gehäuse (1) mit Inhalt sehr leicht und kann von einem einzigen angelernten Arbeiter ausgetauscht werden, was den Unterhalt und die Reparaturen der Einrichtung bzw. der Heizungsanlage stark erleichtert. Ein defektes oder zu revidierendes Aggregat kann von nur einer Person, z.B. vom Hauswart, ersetzt werden, weshalb ein Heizungs- oder Warmwasserausfall nur von sehr kurzer Dauer ist. Weil der Austauschvorgang keinen Heizungsspezialisten erfordert, können erhebliche Arbeitskosten eingespart werden. Weitere Vorteile der Einrichtung sind die entwässernde Wirkung und somit die Eignung als Wäschetrockner sowie die Kühlwirkung, die insbesondere im Sommer im Aufstellungsraum sehr geschätzt wird. <IMAGE>
