A running sole for a ski, especially a cross-country ski, in which, at least in partial regions of the length and breadth of the ski, a plurality of running-sole incisions are present in the form of ramps 3 which are consecutive and graded in the lengthwise direction of the ski and, in longitudinal section, have a saw-tooth profile to prevent backward slipping. In the region of the stepped ramp 3 which rises with a shallow inclination in the lengthwise direction of the ski, the secondary step is arranged in order to increase the pressure on the surface of the snow, the push-off edge (6) of the secondary step (5) being situated deeper than the push-off edge (4) of the stepped ramp (3). <IMAGE>

Lauffläche für einen Ski, insbesondere einen Langlaufski, bei welcher zumindest in Teilbereichen der Länge und Breite des Ski eine Vielzahl von Laufflächeneinschnitten in Form von in der Längsrichtung des Ski aufeinanderfolgenden abgestuften Rampen 3 vorgesehen ist, die im Längsschnitt ein sägezahnartiges rückgleithemmendes Profil aufweisen. In dem in der Längsrichtung des Ski flach ansteigenden Bereich der Stufenrampe 3 ist zur Erhöhung der Schneeflächenpressung eine Sekundärstufe angeordnet, wobei die Abstoßkante (6) der Sekundärstufe (5) tiefer als die Abstoßkante (4) der Stufenrampe (3) liegt. <IMAGE>
