[origin: WO9315639A1] A cooking device (R) comprises a base (2); a fulcrum (10) mounted on the base (2); a support (8) for carrying a pan (4), the support being mounted on the fulcrum (10) and including first and second portions (18, 22) extending respectively from each side of the fulcrum (10) a substantial distance; device (20) for mounting the pan (4) on the first portion (18); and an actuator (26) operably associated with the second portion (22) for periodically accelerating and decelerating rapidly the first portion (18) about the fulcrum (10) between first and second positions, thereby causing the pan (4) to move upwardly and downwardly with the first portion (18) and propel food placed therein into the air upon rapid upward deceleration and downward acceleration of the first portion (18) and causing the food to be turned for uniform heating of different portions of the food.

Un dispositif de cuisson (R) comporte une base (2) sur laquelle est monté un pivot (10); un support (8) pour porter un poêlon (4), ce support étant monté sur le pivot (10) et comprenant des première et deuxième parties (18, 22) s'étendant respectivement de chaque côté du pivot (10) sur une distance substantielle; un dispositif (20) pour fixer le poêlon (4) sur la première partie (18); et un actuateur (26) en liaison fonctionnelle avec la deuxième partie (22) pour accélérer périodiquement et décélérer rapidement la première partie (18) autour du pivot (10) entre des première et deuxième positions, ce qui entraîne un mouvement ascendant et descendant du poêlon (4) avec la première partie (18), ainsi qu'une propulsion dans l'air des aliments qui y sont placés, lors d'une décélération vers le haut et d'une accélération vers le bas rapides de la première partie (18). Ainsi, les aliments sont retournés, ce qui permet une cuisson uniforme de leurs différentes parties.
