In a control for adjusting and/or checking the operating parameters of a loom containing a control unit (8), to which a monitor (7) is connected, provision is made for the control unit (8) to contain a memory with images (20) of locations and/or types of thread breaks which are stored in it and which can be displayed on the monitor (7) when a thread break occurs and which are assigned selection keys (1 to 5), as a result of the actuation of which data on the location and/or type of thread break which has occurred can be entered in the control unit (8). <IMAGE>

Bei einer Steuerung zum Einstellen und/oder Überprüfen der Betriebsparameter einer Webmaschine, die eine Steuereinheit (8) enthält, an die ein Monitor (7) angeschlossen ist, wird vorgesehen, daß die Steuereinheit (8) einen Speicher mit darin abgespeicherten Bildern (20) von Orten und/oder Arten von Fadenbrüchen enthält, die bei Auftreten eines Fadenbruches auf dem Monitor (7) zur Anzeige bringbar sind und denen Auswahltasten (1 bis 5) zugeordnet sind, durch deren Betätigen Daten über den Ort und/oder die Art des aufgetretenen Fadenbruchs in die Steuereinheit (8) eingebbar sind. <IMAGE>
