[origin: EP0593091A1] The invention relates to a roof ventilator (D) which is configured as a roofing panel (1) and has a central, cupola-shaped dome (2), the height of which is greater than its width and smaller than its length and which has, on the upper side, an opening for the through-passage of a ventilation connection tube (6), the diameter of which corresponds approximately to the width of the dome (2) and is smaller than its length and which has a cap (22) which engages over the upper border of the dome (2), exhibits, in the vertex region, an air through-passage hole in the form of an opening (Ö) and extends in a screening manner over the distance which the ventilation connection tube (6) leaves, in the length direction of the dome (2), towards the dome border, and it achieves a configuration, which is advantageous from a ventilation and structural point of view, by means of a covering cap (11) which is configured with the same contours as the dome (2) and is located above the opening (Ö). <IMAGE>
