[origin: EP0593390A1] Fig. 1 shows an almost fully equipped mobile crane, which essentially consists of a crane vehicle (11), a revolving superstructure (48) rotatably mounted on the crane vehicle (11) about a vertical axis, a cab (47), located on the revolving superstructure (48), for operating the crane, a basic jib (50) which can be luffed up about a horizontal axis on the revolving superstructure (48), and a separate jib (40) fastened to the front side of the basic jib (50). Here, the novel basic jib (50) arranged in such a way that it can be luffed is provided on the revolving superstructure (48). The basic jib (50) is designed in such a way that crane work can be carried out independently with it and that articulation means (33, 34) for fastening the separate jib (40) are provided on its front side. In addition, this basic jib (50) extends approximately over the entire length of the crane vehicle (11). The heaviest loads and highest lifts can thus be achieved with this mobile crane in very universal application of the same. <IMAGE>
