[origin: WO9322704A1] A pair of spectacles or a spectacle frame has holding side pieces hingedly linked to the frame for the spectacle lenses. The holding side pieces can swivel from an initial or rest position, in which they lie on the frame for the spectacles lenses, into a deployed work position. Each holding side piece is designed at its end which is linked to the frame for the spectacle lenses as an element of a hinge joint which can be directly coupled to a corresponding reception element of the frame. These parts may be coupled to each other without using aids or tools.

Paire de lunettes ou châssis de lunettes comportant des branches liées de manière articulée à la monture qui retient les verres. Ces branches peuvent passer d'une position initiale ou de repos, dans laquelle elles reposent contre la monture qui retient les verres, dans une position de travail ouverte. Il est prévu que chaque branche soit conçue, au niveau de son extrémité à relier à la monture des verres, comme un élément d'un assemblage articulé, pouvant être directement accouplé à un élément de réception correspondant de la monture. Ces parties peuvent être accouplées sans nécessiter l'utilisation de moyens auxiliaires ou d'outils.
