Abstract (en)
The aim for an exterior luminaire is for it to be capable of being optimally adapted in terms of lighting technology to different illumination tasks whilst maintaining the same spacial shape, and in addition for it to symbolise the classic luminaire for a viewer by its appearance. This is achieved in the case of an exterior luminaire radiating mainly indirectly and having a screened reflector unit, consisting of a preferably punctiform light source (1) and a main reflector (2) whose light cone (4) is directed onto a secondary reflector (6). The latter is partially light-transmitting (translucent) and arranged in an enveloping body (5). The main light flux reflected from the secondary reflector serves to illuminate the prescribed area. The transmitted secondary light flux is emitted - diffusely distributed - over the enveloping body (5) without essentially contributing to the intended illumination. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Für eine Außenleuchte wird angestrebt, daß sie lichttechnisch optimiert bei gleicher Raumform an unterschiedliche Beleuchtungsaufgaben anpaßbar ist und darüber hinaus durch ihre Erscheinungsform einem Betrachter die klassische Leuchte symbolisiert. Erreicht wird dies bei einer vorwiegend indirekt strahlenden Außenleuchte mit einer abgeschirmten Reflektoreinheit, bestehend aus einer vorzugsweise punktförmigen Lichtquelle (1) und einem Hauptreflektor (2), deren Lichtkegel (4) auf einen Sekundärreflektor (6) gerichtet ist. Dieser ist partiell lichtdurchlässig und in einem Hüllkörper (5) angeordnet. Der vom Sekundärreflektor reflektierte Hauptlichtstrom dient zur Beleuchtung der vorgegebenen Fläche. Der transmittierte Nebenlichtstrom wird - diffus verteilt - über den Hüllkörper (5) abgestrahlt, ohne daß er wesentlich zu der Zweckbeleuchtung beiträgt. <IMAGE>
