[origin: EP0593870A1] The invention relates to a moulding machine with a frame (1), with a compacting device (9) arranged on the frame (1) and supported on it and with a lifting device (4) for a mould box (12, 13), which mould box (12, 13) is fed to the lifting device (4) by a mould-box turntable (10) mounted on the frame (1) so as to be pivotable about a vertical axis, a further turntable unit (5), mounted in a manner which allows it to be pivoted about a second vertical axis, being provided on the frame (1) and this turntable unit feeding patterns (7a, 7b) to the lifting device (4). It is furthermore possible, instead or in addition, for a gripping and lifting device (16, 17) with a carriage (18) that serves to move the empty mould boxes (13, 22) and finished moulds (12, 14) backwards and forwards to be provided. <IMAGE>
