Abstract (en)
The technical sector of the invention is that of cases intended to contain a propellant charge and to be placed in a recoilless weapon barrel. The case (3) according to the invention includes a cylindrical envelope (7) intended to be aligned by sliding in the barrel (2) of the weapon, and delimited by two side walls (8, 9), it is characterised in that the cylindrical envelope has an annular incipient rupture (10) and in that, after rupture of the latter under the effect of the pressure of the gases generated by the propellant charge, the case is divided into two parts which are free to move with respect to one another, each part carrying an envelope element (7a, 7b) ensuring leaktightness to the gases. Application to antitank weapons.

Le secteur technique de l'invention est celui des boîtiers destinés à contenir une charge propulsive et à être mis en place dans un tube d'arme sans recul. Le boîtier (3) selon l'invention comporte une enveloppe cylindrique (7) destinée à venir s'ajuster de façon glissante dans le tube (2) de l'arme, et délimitée par deux parois latérales (8,9), il est caractérisé en ce que l'enveloppe cylindrique présente une amorce de rupture annulaire (10) et en ce que, après rupture de cette dernière sous l'effet de la pression des gaz engendrés par la charge propulsive, le boîtier se trouve partagé en deux parties libres de se translater l'une par rapport à l'autre, chaque partie portant un élément d'enveloppe (7a,7b) assurant une étanchéité aux gaz.
