[origin: EP0594486A1] The invention relates to a quick coupling device for equipping civil engineering works machinery. The equipment is mounted on a clevis (5) articulated at the end of an arm, by a rotation spindle (6) defining the centre of gyration of the equipment and an operating rod. The clevis is formed of two parallel flanges (9) each exhibiting a semicircular recess (12) forming a hook intended to engage with a boss (2) of the equipment, and a bolt (18) opposite the hooks coming into engagement in a locking tab (19) carried by the equipment; it includes, on the opposite side from the hook, a first surface element (14) coming to bear on a second plane surface element (14') carried by the equipment, the said surface elements being inclined towards the equipment, and the lock is a finger (20), the end of which has two chamfers, a lower one (23) for clipping the lock into the locking tab, and the other, an upper one (24), intended to participate in taking up play. <IMAGE>
