Date Jan. 7, 1993.A tool for installing a spring rail fastener includes a main arm whose bottom end is provided with a toe adapted to fit over one of the angled axial ends of the fastener. The main arm is connected near its bottom end, above its toe and by way of a hinge having a transverse pin, to a secondary arm. The secondary arm includes a short first length adapted to be inserted into the housing of an anchoring insert, a second length forming a U-shape bent through 180 DEG , a third length that is substantially parallel to the first length and on which the hinge is mounted, and a fourth length extending outwardly and downwardly in inclined manner relative to the third length and terminating in a curved zone.

Outil pour la mise en place d'une attache élastique (A) de rail (R) telle que définie dans la demande de brevet français no. 87 13 860 en appui vertical contre le patin (P) du rail en étant retenue par l'un de ses tronçons, parallèle au rail dans le logement horizontal (L) d'un insert d'ancrage (I), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un bras principal (1) dont l'extrémité inférieure (1a) est pourvue d'un chausson (2) adapté pour venir coiffer l'une des extrémités latérales coudées (A1) de l'attache (A), ledit bras principal étant relié à sa partie inférieure, au-dessus du chausson (2) par une articulation (3) d'axe transversal (3a) à un bras secondaire (10) comportant un premier tronçon court (11) adapté pour être inséré dans le logement (L) de l'insert (I), un second tronçon (12) formant un coude en U à 180°, un troisième tronçon (13) sensiblement parallèle au premier tronçon et sur lequel est montée l'articulation (3) et un quatrième tronçon (14) s'étendant de façon inclinée par rapport au troisième tronçon (13) vers l'extérieur et vers le bas en se terminant par une zone courbe.
