Abstract (en)
For determining the effective cathode temperature of a lamp during the preheating phase, the resistance of the lamp cathode is measured. The lamp is started only when the temperature has reached for example 600@C. As a result, the service life of lamps can be increased considerably.

Zur Ermittlung der effektiven Lampenkathodentemperatur während der Vorheizphase wird der Widerstand der Lampenkathode gemessen. Eine Zündung der Lampe erfolgt erst, wenn die Temperatur z.B. 600°C erreicht hat. Dadurch kann die Lebensdauer von Lampen wesentlich erhöht werden.
