In the case of transparent wall elements (10) comprising a glass wall (18) enclosed by a frame (12), the accommodation of a mechanism for actuating the wall element (10), in particular a base sealing strip (22), poses problems. In the case of the wall element (10) according to the invention, the base sealing strip (22) is connected to a bottom horizontal member (16) of the frame (12) via a movement element (24), said movement element (24) being in operative connection with both the base sealing strip (22) and an actuating member (25) arranged in the vertical member (14) of the frame (12). This makes it possible to accommodate the entire mechanism in the relatively narrow frame, reliable functioning of the mechanism likewise being ensured. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei durchsichtigen Wandelementen (10) aus einer von einem Rahmen (12) umgebenen Glaswandungen (18) ist die Unterbringung einer Mechanik zur Betätigung des Wandelements (10), insbesondere einer Bodendichtleiste (22), problematisch. Beim erfindungsgemäßen Wandelement (10) ist die Bodendichtleiste (22) über ein Bewegungsorgan (24) mit einem unteren Horizontalholm (16) des Rahmens (12) verbunden, wobei das Bewegungsorgan (24) sowohl mit der Bodendichtleiste (22) als auch einem im Vertikalholm (14) des Rahmens (12) angeordneten Betätigungsorgan (25) in Wirkverbindug steht. Dadurch ist es möglich, die gesamte Mechanik im relativ schmalen Rahmen unterzubringen, wobei gleichwohl einezuverlässige Funktion der Mechanik gewährleistet ist. <IMAGE>
