[origin: EP0595093A1] The invention relates to an invalid lift in a vehicle, in particular a bus. The invalid lift has a mechanical locking device operated by compressed air or hydraulically for the selective locking or unlocking of the lift frame (1) to the vehicle frame (2) in the floor plane of the vehicle. The locking device comprises a reception element (3) located on the frame (1) of the invalid lift and a locking element (4) which is located on the vehicle frame (2) via a mounting (6) and can selectively be moved into and out of the reception element (3). The reception element (3) is conical, spherical or wedge-shaped, and the locking element (4) has a complementary design. <IMAGE>
