[origin: EP0595214A2] A drilling tool and in particular a rock drill for making apertures in concrete or masonry for the use of drilling hammers is proposed which is designed as a cross bit with four cutting lobes. In order to optimise the drilling capacity, the drilling tool is provided with a cross-bit head which merges in one piece into a conveying helix adapted to the drill head.
