Abstract (en)
The nitrogen production column (4) comprises, below the air injection point, an oxygen enrichment section (17, 18) and a tank reboiler (9) fed with recycled high-pressure nitrogen. The liquid decompressed (in 19) to feed the head condenser (8) is drawn off at an intermediate level between the air entry level and the reboiler, and the liquid from the column tank, after vaporisation, constitutes a minor product of the plant, consisting essentially of oxygen. <IMAGE>

La colonne (4) de production d'azote comporte, au-dessous du point d'injection de l'air, un tronçon (17,18) d'enrichissement en oxygène et un rebouilleur de cuve (9) alimenté par de l'azote haute pression recyclé. Le liquide détendu (en 19) pour alimenter le condenseur de tête (8) est soutiré à un niveau intermédiaire entre le niveau d'introduction de l'air et le rebouilleur, et le liquide de cuve de la colonne, après vaporisation, constitue un produit minoritaire de l'installation constitué essentiellement d'oxygène. <IMAGE>
