[origin: EP0595760A1] A groove (2) extends in the axial direction of a plate cylinder (3) on which a printing plate (1) is mounted. A first plate clamp (A) is rotatably supported to the plate cylinder (3). A second plate clamp (B) is disposed in the groove (2) so as to be moveable along the axial direction of the cylinder (3). The second plate clamp (B) receives, at its an end, an adjusting bolt (39) for moving the plate cylinder (1) in the axial direction thereof. The second plate clamp (B) has a coil spring (35), at its the other end, for pressing the adjusting bolt (39) against the inner surface of the groove (2). The second plate clamp (B) is moved in the axial direction of the plate cylinder (1) by manipulating the adjusting bolt (39) for adjusting the twist of the printing plate (3). <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
