Single-motor drive device for a diamond holder (32; 32') particularly comprising a motor (14) which rotationally drives a main shaft (2; 2') and a correction shaft (1; 1'), the said main shaft itself rotationally driving the said diamond holder (32; 32'), a clutch (20; 20') which makes it possible to couple or uncouple the shafts, a cam/feeler assembly (34, 31; 34', 31') making it possible to convert the rotational movement of the correction shaft into a longitudinal movement of the diamond holder so that when the correction shaft and the main shaft connected by the clutch rotate simultaneously the diamond holder executes solely an angular movement; when the two shafts are uncoupled and only one of the two shafts rotates, the diamond holder executes either just a longitudinal displacement or both a longitudinal and an angular displacement. <IMAGE>

Dispositif monomoteur d'entraînement d'un porte-diamant (32; 32') comprenant notamment un moteur (14) qui entraîne en rotation un arbre principal (2; 2') et un arbre de correction (1; 1'), le dit arbre principal entraînant lui-même en rotation le dit porte-diamant (32; 32'), un embrayage (20;20') qui permet de coupler ou de découpler les arbres, un ensemble came/palpeur (34, 31; 34',31') permettent de transformer le mouvement rotatif de l'arbre de correction en mouvement longitudinal du porte-diamant de sorte que lorsque l'arbre de correction et l'arbre principal reliés par l'embrayage tournent simultanément, le porte-diamant exécute uniquement un mouvement angulaire; lorsque les deux arbres sont découplés et que seul un des deux arbres tourne, le porte-diamant exécute soit uniquement un déplacement longitudinal, ou à la fois un déplacement longitudinal et angulaire. <IMAGE>
