A pencil sharpener (6) contains a sharpening body (5), having a paring blade (14), and a cone guide (16, 17), for the pencil end which is to be sharpened, and a plastic fixing wall (7) which carries the sharpening body (5) and is a constituent part of a sharpening-body carrier (1). By means of its base (12) which faces the fixing wall (7), the sharpening body (5) is fixed between clamping-surface carriers which are integrally formed on the fixing wall (7) and project therefrom. The clamping-surface carriers contain at least one lug (10) which is integrally formed thereon, can be bent in a flexible manner out of a rest position, and - presses the sharpening body (5), in the fixing position thereof, under prestress against at least one wall protrusion (8) which rests on the opposite side of said sharpening body and projects from the fixing wall (7), and - thereby engages, by means of a protrusion (11) arranged at its deflection end as a loss-prevention means, around a side edge of the sharpening body (5) and projects into the space, located opposite the fixing wall (7), above the sharpening body (5). <IMAGE>

Ein Stiftspitzer (6) enthält einen Spitzkörper (5) mit einem Schermesser (14) und eine Konusführung (16,17) für das zu spitzende Stiftende sowie eine den Spitzkörper (5) tragende, aus Kunststoff bestehende Fixierwand (7) als Bestandteil eines Spitzkörperträgers (1). Der Spitzkörper (5) ist mit seinem der Fixierwand (7) zugewandten Boden (12) zwischen an die Fixierwand (7) angeformten, von ihr abstehenden Klemmflächenträgern fixiert. Die Klemmflächenträger enthalten mindestens eine an sie angeformte, aus einer Ruhestellung elastisch abbiegbare Lasche (10), welche den Spitzkörper (5) in dessen Fixierstellung unter Vorspannung gegen mindestens einen an dessen gegenüberliegender Seite anliegenden, aus der Fixierwand (7) vorstehenden Wandvorsprung (8) preßt und dabei mit einem an ihrem Auslenkende angeordneten Vorsprung (11) als Verliersicherung um eine Seitenkante des Spitzkörpers (5) herumgreift und in den der Fixierwand (7) gegenüberliegenden Raum oberhalb des Spitzkörpers (5) hineinsteht. <IMAGE>
