[origin: EP0596245A1] In a knitting-needle arrangement for warp-knitting machines, the shanks (8) of the knitting needles (6) are arranged in parallel grooves (7) of a knitting-needle bar (1). They are provided with a stop (13) on the side facing the groove bottom. A clamping force is introduced into the knitting needles (6) at an angle to the shank axis differing from 90@. This results in a positive connection between the knitting needle (6) and needle bar (1) and therefore a fixing in position, without a troublesome deformation of the needle bar. <IMAGE>
